Tahsildar killing: CBI probe demanded

Tandur: Revenue staff from the division demanded CBI inquiry into the killing of Abdulapurmet tahsildar. They staged protest at Indira Park, here on Tuesday, condemning the murder of the tahsildar. Revenue staff from Tandur, Basheerabad, Yalala and Peddemul, along with CPM activists, participated in the protest.

Speaking on the occasion, they said killing of Vijaya Reddy was a gruesome incident. Increasing pressure, delay in processing were also troubling the staff. They demanded stringent action against the accused.
