Telangana: 3 killed, 1 injured after tanker rams into car in Suryapet

Three people were killed and one injured after a tanker rammed into a car here at Kasimpeta road junction of Chivvemla Mandal of Suryapet district in the wee hours of Friday.

The incident occurred when the victims were heading to Hyderabad from Vijayawada. While two of them were dead on the spot and another succumbed to ainjuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital. And the injured, car driver Yanamandra Avinash is being treated at Suryapet government hospital.

The deceased were identified as Mydabattula Satyanandam (70), his wife Mydabattula Vijaya Kumari (60) and his son Mydabattula John Joseph (35), natives of Palakollu in West Godavari district. It is learned that the family going to Hyderabad for the treatment of Vijayakumari who was a cancer patient.

The police registered a case and launched an investigation.
