Telangana: 4 killed in road accident at Kamareddy

Four people including two women were killed after the car they were travelling in rammed into a tree here at Bhiknoor of Kamareddy district on Monday.

The mishap took place near Jangampalli village of Bhiknoor mandal when the victims were returning from Hyderabad after dropping a relative at the airport. On learning the accident, the police rushed to the spot and removed the deadbodies from the car.

The deceased are identified as Lavanya, Roshni, Prashanth and Sushil. While Prashanth and Sushil hail from Navipet in Nizamabad, Lavanya and Roshni belong to Prashanth Nagar. The bodies were shifted to a hospital for autopsy. The police registered a case and launched an enquiry.

On December 6, three people hailing from Kankal in Vikarabad district were dead in a road accident that took place at Railway Kodur mandal of Kadapa district. The accident occurred when the victims were on their way to Tirupati.
