Telangana: 4 drown in lake in Karimnagar

Four people met a watery grave in Kolanuru lake on Saturday here at Odela mandal of Karimnagar.

The victims identified as Saturi Rajaiah (70), Siddharth (17), Adarsh (14) and Littu 10) had gone to the lake to learn swimming where they drowned. The bodies of Rajaiah and Siddharth were found while the efforts were on to fish out the bodies of Adarsh and Littu.

All the victims are the natives of Godavarikani.

SI Chandrakumar of Pothakapalli and SI Rajesh of Sultanabad inspected the spot. A case was registered by the police.
