Telangana High Court issues notices on OU land grabbing

Hyderabad: The High Court Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan and Justice B.Vijaysen Reddy heard a Public Interest Litigation on Monday through video conference filed by Dr Poladi Ramana Rao, Postdoctoral Fellow, Osmania University, seeking the interference of the High Court to protect 8000 Square Yards precious land of Osmania University from land grabbers.

The High Court Division Bench issued notices to the Chief Secretary, Prl. Secretary, Revenue, Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, District Collector and Vice-Chancellor, Osmania University. All the above officials will have to respond to the contentions of the Petitioner. The case has been adjourned to June 19.
