Telangana: Shocked by son's death, woman dies of heart attack in Mancherial

Mancherial: A woman died of a heart attack here on Saturday night on learning the death of his son who drowned in a stream in the afternoon.

According to the SI K Prashanth Reddy, Radandi Rajeshwari, wife of Satyanarayana, a farmer from Madavelli village in Mancherial were residing with their 15-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter. Rajeshwari's son Sampath went to swim in a stream and was drowned on Saturday afternoon.

Ever since she learned the death of her son, Rajeshwari was wailing continuously and did not eat food and drink water. She lost conscious and died around 11.30 pm while being shifted to a hospital in Bellampalli.

Satyanarayana and his daughter were depressed with the death of Rajeshwari and Sampath in the span of 12 hours. The funerals of his son and wife likely to take place today evening. It is learned that Sampath has quit his studies and was working to help his family.

Sampath along with his friend Kunche Ramcharan (11) was drowned when they went swimming along with three other boys to beat the heat.
