Tractor turns turtle in Kamareddy, 3 killed

Three people died and two injured when the tractor they travelling on turned turtle here on Thursday morning at Bichkunda of Kamareddy district. The deceased were identified as Tukaram (26), a native of Chinna Devada, Sailu (25) from Bichkunda and Shankar (25) from Madnuru.

Maruthi and Sangu who were also on the tractor suffered injuries and were sent to government general hospital in Bichkunda.

All the victims were heading to get water from a stream in the tanker for the marriage of one Raju which is scheduled today when the tractor hauling water tanker lost control and overturned. CI Sajid Ali inspected the accident spot and on a complaint from the families of the deceased, the police registered a case and sent the bodies for autopsy. An investigation is underway.
