TRS government enhances Rythu Bandhu aid to Rs 5,000

Hyderabad: Fulfilling its election promise, the TRS government on Saturday issued orders hiking the financial assistance under Rytu Bandhu scheme from Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000.

Secretary to Agriculture Department C Parthasarathi said during the current year, the scheme will be implemented by providing enhanced assistance of Rs 5,000 per acre per season to all the Pattadars and RoFR title holders by way of electronic transfer of money through e-Kuber (RBI payment platform).

The official said after the completion of transfer of amounts, government will organise audit to ensure the accuracy of the disbursement to farmers.
