TRS leader attacked by unidentified assailants in Warangal

Warangal: A TRS local leader was brutally thrashed by some unidentified assailants here at Narsampet of Warangal Rural district in early hours on Wednesday.

Getting into details, Ambati Venkanna has gone to a morning walk along with his wife when the assailants attacked him with knives. The TRS leader who suffered severed injuries was shifted to a hospital in Warangal.

The police suspected that land disputes have led to the attack. It is also learned that the assailants have also beaten up his wife when she tried to save her husband. A case was registered by the police.
