TS government planning to sell film tickets through FDC portal

Hyderabad: In the wake of growing menace of sale of film tickets in the black market, Minister for Telangana Animal Husbandry and Cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Saturday said that the State government is planning to stop online sale of film tickets by private agencies.

In an informal chat with scribes in the lobbies of Assembly, the minister said the government is serious on the sale of tickets in black market during the release of blockbuster films.

He said that government has come out with an idea of sale of tickets through government owned portal developed by the Film Development Corporation.

The private online agencies should buy the tickets from FDC portal before they sell to the filmgoers, he mentioned.
