TS Govt warned of stir if ryots not compensated

Shabad: All party leaders extended solidarity to the displaced people in Chandanavelly. Leaders from TDP, Congress, CPI, CPM, BJP, TJS staged a dharna, here on Sunday. They demanded justice to the displaced as per the 2013 Act.

They warned that a massive agitation would be launched for compensation for the farmers who lost their lands. They also warned the government that they would lay siege to Assembly or Pragati Bhavan.

TJS chairman Prof Kodandaram, TPCC secretary Madhusudan Reddy, BJP official spokesperson Raghunandan Rao, former MP of Chevella Vishveshwar Reddy, CPI state secretary Chada Venakat Reddy, former MLC Cherukupalli Sitharam and others were present.
