TSRTC bus plunges into agricultural fields in Peddapalli

Peddapalli: Few passengers suffered injuries after a TSRTC bus plunged into agricultural fields here at Peddapalli on Wednesday morning.

The bus from Manthani depot is believed to have got punctured near Srirampur forest area and plunged into the nearby fields. The bus with 70 passengers including 40 students were heading to Khammampalli of Muttharam mandal when the accident took place.

Passengers said that they would have injured if the bus overturned. The students get into the bus every day to go to the school in Muttharam, said the students' parents. A case was registered by the police.
