Two held for threatening, thrashing youth

Hyderabad: The Central Zone Task Force personnel on Sunday arrested two absconding accused identified as Mohammed Sohail (21) and Mohammed Rahmat Ahmed (25), cab drivers, for their involving in a case of wrongful restraint and thrashing a person.

The police seized two bikes and three mobiles from the possession of the accused.

According to Police, the accused had thrashed the complainant Ch Mahesh and forcibly took his mobile phone and threatened him not to move along with other community girl because he is Hindu.

Later, they forcibly took away one girl on their bike that was along with Mahesh.

Based on the complaint Abids Police registered a case under sections 341, 504, 509, 153(A), 324, 366(A), 382 r/w 34 IPC on September 26 and took up investigation to nab the culprits.
