Urdu Academy gets new director

Nampally: Managing Director at Minorities Finance Corporation MA Waheed took additional charge as the director of TS Urdu Academy on Thursday, replacing Prof SA Shukoor.

Waheed said he accepted the position at the Urdu Academy as per the Government Order (GO) released on Wednesday.

He assured that he would keep the momentum of the Academy in organising cultural programmes across the state.

He said he would implement all the existing government schemes towards doing justice to the post.
