Vijayashanti ridicules exit polls

Update: 2019-05-21 02:13 IST

Hyderabad: Telangana Congress Campaign Committee Chairperson Vijayashanti on Monday mocked the exit poll results announced by several national media organisations on Monday.

She said the exit polls appeared to be made to satisfy Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The actor-turned-politician reacted on the issue through her social media account.

Vijayashanti said that the Sunday's exit polls tried to create more sweep for Modi which was not even there in the 2014 elections.

She alleged that the media tried to create an image against the ground reality.

Stating that the same exit polls gave a smaller number of seats for the BJP, the Congress leader wondered as to how the MP seats of the BJP would be reduced in UP if there was a Modi wave.

She is ready to consider the exit polls as near to reality, if the BJP wins the majority number of seats in Congress ruled MP, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh States.

She made it clear that the BJP could not cross 300-seat mark unless it wins more seats in their party ruled States.
