Warangal: Narsampet civic chief A Venkateshwarlu, aide in ACB net

Narsampet (Warangal Rural): The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) personnel on Monday caught Municipal Commissioner A Venkateshwarlu and junior assistant Kiran red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 at their office in Narsampet. According to the ACB officials, the Commissioner and the junior assistant demanded one Kokku Ashok, a resident of Narsampet, to pay a bribe of Rs 10,000 towards issuing the age certificate of his house.

Following which, Ashok approached the ACB officials who in turn hatched a trap and caught the Commissioner and the junior assistant while accepting the bribe. DSP P Madhusdhan, Inspectors Satish, Kranthi Kumar and Ramana Murthy participated in the operation.
