Warangal: Prof Kaseem falls unconscious in court

Warangal: The Associate Professor with the Telugu Department, Osmania University, C Kaseem, fell unconscious in the Warangal court on Tuesday.

It may be recalled here that C Kaseem was detained by the police on January 18 for having alleged links with the banned outfit CPI-Maoists.

The police who brought Kaseem on PT Warrant from Cherlapally prison in Hyderabad in connection with a case registered in Khanapuram police station of Warangal Rural district produced him in a court here.

The police rushed him to MGM Hospital. After treatment, Kaseem was shifted to Warangal Central Prison. The case has been posted to February 25, it is learnt.
