Wife's murder accused attacks 3 sisters with knife in Hyderabad, 2 die

A 27-year-old man who was released on bail after being jailed for killing his wife last year has attacked his three sisters and a brother-in-law with a knife. Two sisters succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment, another sister and her husband are in critical condition.

The accused Ahmed Ismail, an ex-bouncer was residing with his mother Puthli Begum at Salala Barkas under Chandrayangutta police station limits. Ismail invited his four sisters to home and first attacked his sisters Razia Begum and Zakira Begum when they were in the kitchen. He then went to the residence of third sister Noora Begum in Nabeel Colony and attacked her and brother-in-law.

On learning his fourth sister was admitted in the hospital, Ismail went to Owaisi hospital to kill her. However, he left the place after noticing the police.

Razia and Zakira were dead on the spot while Noora Begum and her husband are undergoing treatment. The Chandrayangutta police were alerted over the incident who found that Ismail had an old dispute with his sisters over property share. The police registered a case and launched a manhunt to trace the accused who has gone absconding.
