Jano Jaago and IUML members conduct the medical camp in Nandyal

Kurnool: A free medical camp was organised at Nandyal by the members of Jano Jaago and IUML organisations here on Sunday. Doctors from Bengaluru and Santhiram Hospital and College attended the programme and tested the patients and distributed medicines at free of cost.

Dr Fazulullah,MD from Bengaluru, Dr Syed Jaffarullah and Dr Iliyaz of Santhiram Hospital were the chief guests on the occasion. Around 400 patients have utilised the free medical camp and checked their blood pressure (BP), sugar and other ailments. The doctors after checking patients distributed free medicines and suggested to undergo frequent checkups.

National president of Jaano-Jaago (Muslim development organisation) Mahaboob Basha, speaking on the occasion, said organising such free camps and doing social services gives immense pleasure. He profusely thanked Dr Fazulullah, Dr Syed Jaffraullah and Dr Iliyaz for allotting precious time to attend the medical camp. He further said several more such camps have been planned in future.

IUML district secretary Salam Moulana said that "service to mankind is service to god". With the motto, the medical camp was organised. It was not expected that the patients would attend the camp in large numbers. The doctors have attended every patient and suggested them to take care of their health. They also prescribed medicines besides distributing free medicines. Organising these kind programmes is nothing but to serve the people, stated Salam Moulana.

Dr Fazullallah said that it is a good initiative taken by the members of Jaano-Jaago and IUML. He urged others to take inspiration from these kinds of free camps and come forward to organise more such camps in future so that the people from poor can utilise the services free of cost.

IUML leaders Ravi, Deen Moulana, Aleem, Noor, Khaza, Jaffar, Mahaboob Basha, Sajid, Umar, Shafiullah and others participated in the free medical camp.
