Kurnool: Superintendent of Government General Hospital Dr PN Jikki on Wednesday said that all necessary steps are being taken to tackle the seasonal diseases. Jikki convened a meeting with all the Heads of Departments (HoDs) at Dhanvanthri Conference Hall in this regard here on Wednesday.
Addressing the gathering, she said the Director of Medical Education (DME) has ordered to be alert to tackle the season diseases. She ordered the HoDs to take all necessary steps as suggested by the DME, Vijayawada.
She further stated that following the orders of district collector G Veera Pandiyan, admission to patients has been started in the hospital. Till date, several patients, who were suffering with different ailments, were admitted in the concerned wards.
Dr Jikki appealed to people to be cautious of deadly coronavirus. She suggested the people to compulsorily wear masks, maintain social distance and wash hands frequently. Deputy Superintendent Dr Bhagawan, RMO Dr Vasudha and heads of all hospital departments participated in the meeting.
