Vijayawada: The farmers in the capital region of Amaravati staged protest against the recent statements made by the AP Minister that the construction of capital would cost more and that the capital region is prone to inundation.
The farmers at Krishnayapalem staged protest as convoy of CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy passed past them towards the Secretariat. The farmers demanded that the CM make an announcement on the construction of the capital. The CM convoy moved swiftly towards the secretariat.
BJP leaders Kanna Lakshminarayana and MP Sujana Chowdary are also meeting the farmers in the capital region.
