Kakinada: Annavaram Devasthanam executive officer Vendra Trinatha Rao said that Central government has given permission to reopen temples on June 8. But the state government has not yet given its consent and they were expecting permission before June 8.
He told 'The Hans India' that if the Endowments department will give the permission to open the temple on June 8, darshan of the Lord Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarana Swamy will be made available to the devotees.
Steps have been taken to ensure only 300 devotees allowed through online for the darshan of the lord. He said those permitted for darshan should come to the temple 30 minutes before the scheduled time. He advised the devotees to bring Aadhaar card and wear the masks and clean their hands with sanitizers on the temple premises. Children below 10 years, persons aged above 60 and patients will not be allowed for darshan. Devotees will not be allowed to enter Garbhalaya and Antaralaya darshan. Only laghu darshan is allowed. Trinatha Rao said that after darshan there will be no Teertham and Satari which were suspended temporarily in the shrine. Daily free meal is temporarily suspended.
