Municipal polls in Andhra Pradesh have been continuing peacefully except some sporadic incidents at fea places. People lined up at polling stations to exercise their right to vote. Polling began at 7 a.m. and will end at 5 p.m for 12 corporations and 71 municipalities across the state.

However, there is confusion in the Eluru voter list in West Godavari district where there are allegations that there have been fault in division of voters across the divisions. In this backdrop, Alla Nani's vote had found missing when he went to the polling station to vote in Eluru Corporation. Meanwhile, officials are trying to find out in which division the minister's vote is there. Minister Alla Nani expressed impatience over the attitude of the Election Commission officials.

On the other hand, Perni Nani in Machilipatnam of Krishna district, Avanti Srinivas in Bhimili Nerellavalasa of Visakhapatnam district, Amzath Basha, deputy CM in 29th division of YSR Kadapa district, Vellampally Srinivas in 53rd division of Vijayawada West constituency and Balineni Srinivasreddy in Ongole 34th division exercised their vote.
