Vijayawada: Ther esults of the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET)–June 2026 were released by the School Education Department on Sunday. AP TET Convener MV Krishna Reddy issued a press release announcing the results.

The examination was conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode from August 5 to 16. As many as 2,14,486 candidates applied for 2,38,252 papers, while 1,97,703 candidates appeared for 2,18,254 papers.

Following the examination, the preliminary key was released and objections raised by candidates were examined by an expert committee. After incorporating necessary changes, the final results were announced based on the final key.

Of the candidates, who appeared for the examination, 90,862 cleared 99,591 papers, recording an overall pass percentage of 45.63%. Among in-service teachers, 74,711 candidates applied for 84,798 papers, while 72,288 appeared for 81,127 papers. Of them, 37,789 teachers cleared 41,315 papers, registering a pass percentage of 50.93%.

According to MV Krishna Reddy, candidates can check their results through their candidate login on the official AP TET website. The results can also be accessed through WhatsApp at 9552300009, he said.
