With the ongoing stir on the capital city Amaravati, the TDP and YSRCP held a round table conference along with farmers in Vijayawada. The farmers are divided on this issue and spewing venom on each other. In this backdrop, Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy spoke on the capital and said that the investigation into the irregularities of the previous government on the capital is underway.

The finance minister asserted that the facts will be out soon. The FM alleged that the TDP leaders bought the land in Amaravati before the capital was declared. He went on to say that the government has declared the capital only after the lands were grabbed by TDP leaders.

Bhuggana alleged TDP for extorting the lands from Dalits. The Finance Minister said that 1500 acres would be sufficient to build the capital and assured the people that GN Rao Committee will give a report soon, which would be acceptable to everyone.
