Chandrababu Naidu supports English Medium, provided students be given an option to choose the Medium of Instruction
TDP chief and former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu said the Telugu Desam Party is not opposed to the English Medium in government-run schools.
TDP chief and former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu said the Telugu Desam Party is not opposed to the English Medium in government-run schools. He said that we had introduced English Medium in primary schools during their tenure. He said that the English Medium is fully justified and their party is also cooperating.
The Jagan government decided on making the English medium mandatory from one to sixth grade. The matter was debated in the Assembly. Speaking on occasion, Naidu said that it was their govt which mad the decision of implementation of English MediumMedium in 33 per cent of schools. He stressed that the TDP has credit in English MediumMedium.
Chandrababu suggested that they have a lot of work ahead, such as training for teachers and printing of books in English. Chandrababu suggested that parents and students should be given an option to chose the Medium of the instruction to study.
