TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has written a letter to Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy asking him to provide relief measures to the people affected in flood-hit areas.

"The government failed to control the floods and neglected in providing relief measures to the people," Naidu said in the letter adding that he was saddened by the situation of people in Lanka villages of Krishna and Guntur.

"Several crops were inundated and even the houses," added Naidu.

He further urged the government to aid the farmers and organise medical camps in Lanka villages. He asked the government to estimate the loss incurred due to the floods and send them to the centre.

Naidu also demanded to sanction new houses to the people affected by the floods.
