In a heart-wrenching incident, a poor couple from Chittoor district who cannot afford treatment to their one year daughter Suhana had approached the court to grant mercy death. Knowing this, Chief Minister YS Jagan has ordered the authorities to provide the child with the necessary treatment.
Chief Minister HAd learnt about the condition of the child from Chittoor district collector and released the money from CM relief fund for the treatment.
Bawajan and Shabana, who are residing in the BC Colony of Kothakotta Mandal in Chittoor district married eight years ago. The couple had lost two children within a matter of days after the birth due to a shortage of sugar levels. Suhana was the third child has suffered from insufficient sugar levels
Out of their financial condition misery, the couple filed a petition in court requesting their daughter be given a merciful death due to lack of money for treatment.
