Chittoor: Chandragiri MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy on Friday condoled the family members of Vinay Reddy, a YSRCP activist and a resident of Palakur village, Irala mandal, who was washed away in Irala Vaagu floods on Thursday night while returning to Kanipakam in his car.
Having come to know about the tragic incident, Puthalapattu MLA M S Babu rushed the spot along with cyclone rescue teams and shifted his body Kanipakam. While consoling the family members, Chevireddy lauded the services of Vinay Kumar Reddy for the strengthening of party in the district.
He announced Rs 11 lakh aid from his own funds as a token of his association with the deceased. Meanwhile Deputy Chief Minister K Narayanaswamy, in a press release, expressed shock over the demise of Vinay Reddy and assured all sorts of assistance from the government.
