CM Jagan to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah today, likely to discuss on dissolution of AP Legislative Council

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who met prime minister Narendra Modi couple of days back will meet union home minister Amit Shah on Friday. Jagan in an hour-long discussion with Modi has discussed issues pertaining to state especially on the abolition of the council, three capital issue, funds for Polavaram, special status to the state, the release of Polavaram grants, funds for the development of backward districts.
However, Jagan came to Vijayawada yesterday after the appointment of Amit Shah was found to be scheduled on Friday. CM Jagan is likely to give a detailed explanation to Home Minister Amit Shah on the decision to set up a High Court in Kurnool along with the consequences of the dissolution of the council.
With the series of visits to Delhi, CM Jagan seems to be hitching with BJP in the centre. On the other hand, the governor of Andhra Pradesh Biswabhushan Harichandan prorogued assembly of the council on Thursday and the government is likely to issue an ordinance on the three capital soon.
