Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has urged the central government to run more airlines to bring Telugu people stranded abroad due to the lockdown.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has urged the central government to run more airlines to bring Telugu people stranded abroad due to the lockdown. Most of the Telugu people in the Gulf and Singapore are appealing for an initiative to evacuate all. CM Jagan wrote a letter to the Union Foreign Ministry on Thursday. The Indian government has already launched a special flight through the Vande Bharat Mission to repatriate those who are stranded abroad.

Earlier, as part of Vande Bharat Mission three flight including yesterday's flight from Kuwait have rapatriated the Andhra Pradesh people who have stranded in different countries. On Wednesday night 114 Telugu people stranded in Kuwait have arrived to Visakhapatnam airport and all of them have been shifted to their native districts through buses after thermal scaning and covid-19 tests.

It is reported that as the people now has no opportunity to migrate to other countries for livelihood, the central government seems to contemplating to create awareness in the country depending on the resources.
