Narasaraopet: Palandu district collector Krittika Shukla said that all eligible people will get pensions at their doorstep on the first of every month. She along with Sattenapalli MLA Kanna Lakshminarayana participated in the NTR Bharosa pension distribution programme at Rentapalla village in Sattenapalli Rural mandal on Thursday and distributed pensions to beneficiaries.
Speaking on the occasion, she said staff had been instructed to complete the distribution through facial recognition as an alternative wherever beneficiaries faced biometric authentication issues. She stated that ensuring pensions reach beneficiaries without any inconvenience was the government’s priority.
She urged people in villages and wards to immediately bring to the notice of the authorities any cases where eligible beneficiaries had been deprived of pensions due to technical issues. MLA Kanna Lakshminarayana said the coalition government, under the leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, was working with the welfare of poor people as its primary objective.
