Nandyal: Anintensive overnight search operation undertaken by the Nandyal police ended on a victorious note with the safe recovery and reunification of a four-year-old missing girl on Monday morning.
The child, identified as Pranavi, had gone missing from the YSR Nagar locality at around 9 p.m. on Sunday.
Taking immediate action after the girl’s mother, B Kalyani, raised an alarm via the Dial-112 emergency system, local police squads quickly blanketed the area.
As the search scaled up, District Superintendent of Police Suneel Sheoran reached the location to personally direct operations.
Under the direct supervision of Sub-Divisional ASP Sushmita, tracking teams combed through streets, analyzed local CCTV feeds, and strategically deployed drone units alongside a K9 dog squad to inspect canals and open outskirt stretches.
The grueling nine-hour operation bore fruit at 6 a.m. on Monday when police successfully located the child unharmed in an agricultural field on the town’s periphery.
