In the wake of Coronavirus cases reported in Delhi and Hyderabad on Monday, the Andhra Pradesh government has been alerted. In this backdrop, West Godavari district administration has been alerted on the coronavirus. So far, 23 people who reached the district from abroad have undergone medical tests. Of which, as many as 19 people found negative while four others were under suspicious of being attacked with virus. The doctors have kept them under medical supervision.

On the other hand, the Isolation Ward was set up in advance at the Eluru District Central Hospital.

Earlier, two confirmed cases of coronavirus were reported on Monday one from New Delhi while the other one is from Hyderabad in Telangana. It said that both the patients are stable and are being closely monitored.

The person from Delhi reportedly has a travel history from Italy and is now being treated at RML Hospital while the one from Telangana has a travel history from Dubai.
