COVID-19 cases spikes up in Andhra Pradesh with 465 new cases, tally hits 7961
Coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh: As many as 465 Coronavirus cases were reported in Andhra Pradesh taking the tally to the 7,961 cases in the state on Friday.
Coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh: As many as 465 Coronavirus cases were reported in Andhra Pradesh taking the tally to the 7,961 cases in the state on Friday. According to the media health bulletin released by the state nodal officer on Friday, the health department has conducted tests for 17,609 samples in the past 24 hours, which amasses to cumulative 6,24,045 samples. The media health bulletin states that 82 persons were recovered on Friday while the total active cases stands at 3069 and the recovered cases at 3065.
On the other hand, four more deaths with two in Krishna district and one each in Prakasam and Srikakulam have registered taking the total toll to 96 on Friday.
Meanwhile, among the total cases reported on Friday, the cases related to the foreign returnees are 308 with 261 active cases and 47 discharges till today while the migrant returnees cases stands at 1423 leaving 630 in active stage and ,793 discharges including 51 discharges in last 24 hours.
