CS Nilam Sawhney assures employment to SC, ST and Minorities under YSR Adarsham Scheme
Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney said that through the YSR Adarsham Scheme, the unemployed youth would be provided employment.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney said that through the YSR Adarsham Scheme, the unemployed youth would be provided employment. The chief secretary conducted a review meeting with officials of various departments in the Secretariat. She said measures would be taken to ensure jobs to SC, ST, BC and minority unemployed under various categories like transporting sand and other necessities in the state. "Government is planning to provide vehicles for the poor with bank loans," the CS said.
The CS ordered the relevant authorities to submit a comprehensive report on this soon. Nilam Sawhney has been appointed as the first woman chief secretary of Andhra Pradesh. Sawhney has taken over the charge from in charge CS Neerab Kumar Prasad.
She was former secretary of the Union Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. Previously, Neela Sahani was the Assistant Collector of Krishna district and served as Nalgonda District Collector and later moved to the Central Services.
