Eluru: NABARD felicitates SHGs in district
Bringing awareness among women and encouraging successful women by felicitating them was the main motto of the function. NABARD would extend its services to the members of the SHGs and play vital role in their economic self-sufficiency
Eluru: Ideal members of Self-Help Groups (SHG) who stood example for social and economic development of women were felicitated to mark International Women's Day at the office of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) on Wednesday. 4
Speaking on the occasion, NABARD DDM BVS Rama Prabhu said that bringing awareness among women and encouraging successful women by felicitating them was the main motto of the function.
He announced that NABARD would extend its services to the members of the SHGs and play vital role in their economic self-sufficiency.
DRDA Project Director Uday Bhaskar said that these programmes were being held to encourage women excel in all fields besides performing their role in family.
State Mahila Commission member Dr Rajyalakshmi was felicitated on the occasion.
She said that the commission would work for the safety of women.
