District Collector K V N Chakradhar Babu said that the administration conducted a mock drill with 30 people at each session site as part of dry run on Saturday
Nellore: District Collector K V N Chakradhar Babu said that the administration conducted a mock drill with 30 people at each session site as part of dry run on Saturday. Speaking to media after inspecting the site at Narayana General Hospitals, he said all arrangements have been made for vaccination at 665 Grama/Ward Sachivalayam in the district duly providing training to the teams.
The Collector said a team with five members have been arranged at the session sites besides mapping of staff members who deliver duties at the sites. They are sending messages to those people who registered for vaccination, the Collector said. He visited the sites at Narayana General Hospital and Kranti Nagar Urban Health Centre along with the senior officials.
He asked the officials at the observation rooms to monitor any adverse effects after vaccination demanding the people to stay at least for 30 minutes in the place.
He suggested them shifting to the emergency wards in case of any serious health implications. He said medicines should be stored at each site for managing the situation. He said the dry run would take around 45 minutes for the entire vaccination process.
