Guntur: To create awareness on the importance of water to the people, The HDFC Bank will organise SAVEATHON-Run for Water 2K and 5 K run in Guntur city on March 8.
Addressing the media here on Tuesday, the Circle Head of the HDFC Bank Mukundan Alavoor, said that the bank was conducting the programme as a social responsibility. He further said that those participating in the programme would take a pledge that they would save water. He said that the run will start from NTR Municipal Corporation Stadium.
Guntur Municipal Corporation Superintending Engineer P Ravi Krishna Raju stressed on need to save water to solve water problem.
Later, they released T-Shirts relating to HDFC Bank SAVEATHON-Run for Water.
