With the weather in the Andhra Pradesh getting cold and rains occurring over the past two days, the farmers of state are in relief and taking measures to start their agriculture. Meanwhile, the surface trough occurred over the western central Bay of Bengal across the Andhra Pradesh coast is also likely to enhance the rains in Andhra Pradesh for today and tomorrow. It is reported that the cyclone is heading westward along the Andhra Pradesh coast and south Odisha coast.

It is extended to a height of 7.6 km above sea level due to which heavy rainfall was reported in Vishakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari districts on Saturday. Slight rains are expected in some areas of North Andhra, Yanam, South Coast and Rayalaseema on Sunday and Monday.

Heavy rains are expected in some parts of the South Coast on the 8th of this month, the Amaravati Meteorological Center said. A moderate amount of rain is expected in South Coast and Rayalaseema and heavy rains are expected in some areas, the Meteorological Department added.

On the other hand, heavy rains are expected in several places in Telangana over the next two days. The Hyderabad Meteorological Department has forecasted rains for Sunday in almost all the districts in Telangana.
