HSL’s remarkable transformation, sustained growth draws praise

Visakhapatnam: Lauding HSL’s remarkable transformation, sustained growth, end-to-end shipbuilding ecosystem and proven expertise in delivering diverse strategically important platforms, A Anbarasu, Additional Secretary and Director General (Acquisition), Department of Defence, Ministry of Defence, expressed strong confidence in Hindustan Shipyard Limited’s transformation, capabilities and growth trajectory.

During his interaction with HSL officials on Saturday, Anbarasu highlighted HSL’s position as India’s premier defence shipyard along the East Coast and commended its dedicated workforce, positive energy and growing capabilities.

Calling upon employees to place organisational interest above individual interest, he underscored that every individual has a vital role in nation-building and urged the HSL team to work with unity, purpose and commitment to take the shipyard to even greater heights.

Thanking the dignitary for his encouragement and guidance, Rear Admiral Chandrasekharan Raghuram (Retd.), Chairman and Managing Director of HSL, highlighted the shipyard’s collective vision, stating, “Your aspiration is for HSL to be the premier shipyard on the East Coast. Our aspiration, as one team, is to become the best shipyard in the country, building ships for the world.

The path is set, and Team HSL is committed to making that vision a reality.”
