The officials conducted raids at the head office in Varadaiahpalem of Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh and investigating illegal assets like foreign donations to the ashram and evasion of tax. The religious organisation also reportedly faces allegations of land grabbing.

The raids that begin on Wednesday would end on Friday. Meanwhile, the sleuths have conducted raids at Studion N channel in Hyderabad, which has connections with Kalki

Born to Vijay Kumar Naidu, Kalki worked as a small-time employee in LIC and later joined J Krishnamurthy Foundation in 1980. He claims that he is Bhagwan and started ashram. He claims that he has supernatural powers and many devotees, including politicians, come to him for blessings.
