Jana Sena party leaders who are supporting the construction workers are agitating against the shortage of Sand. Jana Sena leaders have staged a protest at Visakha Minister Avanti Srinivas's house. Slogans were raised against the government. They have demanded that the Sand be made available and help them to get works.

Minister Avanti Srinivas held discussions with workers and Jana Sena leaders. The workers explained their hardships to the minister on this occasion. Avanti then said that the Sand would be made available as soon as possible and alleged that some parties are deliberately politicizing the issue.

Earlier, the Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan took a dig at the govt for the shortage of Sand and said that the Sand is available in Facebook. The actor turned politician alleged that it is deceiving the people in the name of GO 486 issued for providing subsidy for 6000 lorries. The actor turned politician said that he would complain to Union govt on the GO 486.
