Kakinada: Police to hold Girijana Mitra for welfare of tribals in Agency
As a part of community policing, ‘Girijana Mitra’ programme was organised under the directions of Superintendent of Police Adnan Nayeem Asmi, Rampachodavaram Additional SP Vakul Jindal in the Agency Area to improve coordination with the tribal students and help them in improve their quality of life.

An awareness programme was conducted at Woods Resorts in Maredumilli in East Godavari District with Tenth class Girijan students who are going to appear the SSC examinations of Tribal Residential School in Maredumilli and Gurhtedu villages in Y Ramavaram Mandal on Tuesday.
Additional SP Vakul Jindal said that 'Girijana Mitra' will help the police develop a bond with the tribal community members. The children were appraised of the various career opportunities available for them and made aware about the opportunities available for Polytechnic education. Jindal educated them about stress management in exams and strategies to score good marks in SSC exams by distinguished educationists.
He said that they were invited to the free training programme being conducted by the police department for Polycet examination for tribal students after their Tenth class exams. More than 300 students participated in the programme.
