Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will visit Anantapur district today to launch the KIA Motors India factory in Erramanchi village on Thursday. CM Jagan Mohan Reddy will leave Gannavaram airport at 9.30 am and will arrive at Puttaparthi airport at 10.30 am. At 11.05 pm, the, he will arrive at Kia Motors Company in the village of Erramanchi.

After inaugurating the plant, Jagan will visit the administration department, press, body, paint, assembly, engine shop and test driver till 12.35 pm. Afterwards, he will address the opening ceremony. They will then reach Puttaparthi airport at 1.30 pm and arrive at Gannavaram airport at 2.55 pm.

Through this project, the AP government implemented a policy of developing industrialized backward areas and providing 75% local reservation for job seekers. KIA employs a total of 12,835 workers. Of which, 10,887 are from our state and 7029 of them are from Anantapur district. They are trained by the AP Government.
