The couple hailed from Alur town in Kurnool district, were bestowed with four children. Of them, the second daughter Harika was suffering from liver problem. Harika did not recover well despite the treatment given at Kurnool government general hospital. Instead the child began to suffer with the stomach that was sprouting out as she began to grow. The doctors at the hospital stated that the liver needs to be transplanted and the process may cost around Rs 25-30 lakh.

Veerabhadra, a reporter in a TV channel, who could not afford such a huge amount, has urging donors to come forward to save her daughter.
