TDP district president Somi Shetty Venkateshwarulu alleges that the YSRCP government in the State indulged in vindictive politics during its one-year rule

Kurnool: TDP district president Somi Shetty Venkateshwarulu alleged that people were not benefitted much during the year-long rule of YSRCP government in the state. Instead, the year-long governance indicated revenge politics by the ruling party, he said addressing a press conference at party office here on Saturday.

Shetty said people have voted Jagan Mohan Reddy to power upon his repeated requests to give a chance. With the people's blessings the party has won 151 MLA and 22 MP seats. Majority of people have been facing severe financial hardships during the two-month long nation-wide lockdown to curb covid-19. However, Chief Minister has hiked power tariff abnormally, Somi Shetty regretted.

The TDP leader said that Dr Sudhakar was tortured by police for pointing out the scarcity of N-95 masks. But High Court has taken the case suo moto and also ordered to file a case against the police personnel besides handing it over to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Even the High Court also gave orders in favour of AB Venkateshwara Rao, he pointed out.

Somishetty took objection against Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and other YSRCP leaders for making baseless comments against former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

He cautioned the higher officials not to issue orders blindly.
