Minister inaugurates Ward Secretariat in Visakhapatnam
Minister of Tourism and Youth Advancement M Srinivasa Rao and District Collector V Vinay Chand inaugurated the Ward Secretariat at Marikavalasa here on Wednesday.
Visakhapatnam: Minister of Tourism and Youth Advancement M Srinivasa Rao and District Collector V Vinay Chand inaugurated the Ward Secretariat at Marikavalasa here on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the youth should follow in the footsteps of Gandhi to realise their dreams. Within a few months of coming to power, the government enacted legislation for the betterment of the underprivileged. The Secretariat system would help the people secure hastle-free services at their doorstep.
District Collector V Vinay Chand said the Secretariats were opened on the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Joint Collector L Siva Sankar, District Panchayat Officer Krishnakumari, Zilla Parishad CEO Ramana Murthy and DRDA Project Director Visvesvara Rao were also present.
