MLA Sunitha urges rapid pension submissions ahead of Sept 16 deadline

Anantapur: Raptadu MLA Paritala Sunitha has directed local TDP leaders and booth-level activists to proactively assist eligible citizens in applying for new ‘NTR Bharosa’ pensions, highlighting that the application window closes strictly on September 16.

Addressing a party coordination meeting at her camp office in Anantapur, MLA Sunitha recalled how pensions were arbitrarily canceled under the previous administration, noting that public grievances over pension cuts drove her to repeatedly raise the issue in the Assembly. Praising Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for sanctioning three lakh new pensions across the state, she stressed that benefits must be extended strictly on the basis of eligibility without political discrimination. She instructed cluster, unit, and booth in-charges to utilize village and ward secretariats to help applicants file paperwork before the deadline, offering guidance on required documents through MPDO offices.

Reviewing grassroots outreach, the MLA commended party cadres for successfully executing the “Intintiiki Kootami Prabhutvam” program and the SIR survey, assuring constituents that pending grievances, including house mapping complications, have been escalated to top state authorities for swift resolution. Meanwhile, MLA Sunitha announced that State Minister for Education Nara Lokesh will tour the Raptadu constituency on September 22. During his visit, Lokesh will inaugurate newly constructed buildings at the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya in Chennekothapalli and unveil statues of TDP founder NTR and former Minister Paritala Ravindra at the constituency headquarters, followed by a major public rally. She called upon all party workers to ensure the event’s grand success.
