N Chandrababu Naidu gets permission to travel to Vizag from Hyderabad
To meet families of LG Polymers gas leak victims today
Vijayawada: State police on Sunday granted permission to former Chief Minister and the TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu to travel from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam by flight and later to travel to his residence in Undavalli, Guntur district, by road.
Earlier, Naidu sent a mail to the State DGP office seeking permission to travel from Hyderabad to Vizag by flight on May 25 and later proceed to Undavalli by road after meeting the victims of LG Polymers gas leakage tragedy in Visakhapatnam.
The accident claimed 12 lives and made several hundred people ill. Ever since the mishap took place nearly three weeks ago, Naidu has been planning to visit Vizag and meet the victims of gas.
Finally, he sent a mail to the police department on May 23 seeking e-pass and the State police issued e-pass for movement during the Covid-19 lockdown period on Sunday. Naidu will depart from Hyderabad at 10.35 am on Monday from and will reach Vizag and later meet the victims of the gas leak tragedy and console the families.
